The Media Is A Joke

Knock! Knock!
A reporter here
Here to ask you a couple questions
Please answer in jest
I'm not going to answer the door for you
Humiliate me, you will not
You may scare me for it is the truth I fear
My bosses will not let me pursue lessons
Outside of the youth's ignorant and idiotic behest
I was lied to

Knock! Knock!
It's the same reporter wondering; what do you want?
Do you want neutral unbiased news coverage for yourself
And all you care about; or is it for noone?
Everyone deserves equal ink
The bad joke that no one wants to stop
Is that modern media is nothing but fonts and taunts
And loud talkers, unfunny buffoons, braggadocios in how themselves
Are a farce, aren't funny, or fun
That makes even me, the reporter, unthink

I am mad because you haven't
Been amazed by what I thought was funny or smart or stunning
Since laughter's advent
There hasn't been a joke more cunning
