POETRY: They Want Free Empathy

I am not an ableist and I respect the journey of your families
Wander the globe searching for quintessence
But were your ancestors blind, they could not hear? Were they dumb?
Maybe they did not see
They saw and pretended they did not
They approached a land of refuge treating people horribly
And settled
They had to eat rat burgers, that's their cause
Should we forgive their feigned ignorance?
Why must we be empathetic to your unique plight?
When, according to you, our families have been here, under constant incessant siege?
You joined the siege, gleefully
You thought the grass was greener and it still is
You just cry when it gets a little brown, at least it isn't on fire
And has not become black

The waves, skies, deserts and mountains you feared
You thought you would never have to fight the same fight as us
Now when there is no imminent death, just a flight home
We must respond, as we always have, empathetically
You're not facing death. You are facing the flag in your social media profile
On your helmet, on your jersey, you are facing thousands of eateries with your traditional foods
And millions more people that look exactly like you
How diverse is your homeland? Do they even care about diversity?
You face the heritage you claim is your heart
But your soil is barren your skies permanently dark
You hate your home so we must help you stay in ours?
When you refuse to address why your family thought
That you could never be judged
As those that built your nest, your sanctuary
You beg for us to accept you when you have a flag and national pride back home
You actually think you have an argument
That we must feel sorry for your ignorance...
No! It was not ignorance it was a simple understanding, it was arrogance!
That you knew that your family was not like those enslaved here
Or hung from trees, or kept from bank loans and on one side of a city
We were put in prison for crimes that are open secrets in your community
You get to jack off the white John
Or sell the cocaine, we get to go to prison
And still you are not treated nearly the same and you compare
You compare yourself to us when you make choices
Your choices are the same as us being born, now
It wasn't the same before you got here but now it's the same
We should fight for your prejudice and at the very least your arrogance?
We should die for you, be your martyr?
So you can enjoy the same life you only complain about, now
You and your family thought this would never happen
And if you knew, you wholeheartedly conceded to that possibility
Your family claims asylum only for economy
Not to help this country grow but to help your shithole glow
To guilt us into paying your salary and sustain your lifestyle
Donations for your job just because who you fuck or how you identify

You deserve no empathy
Your family nor you had any foresight
You thought you had an army, that you hate, to always fight for you
Whenever you randomly attach yourselves to our plight you thought we would agree forever
It's your turn for oppression, it's your turn to see what it's like to never be wanted
And still you're not scarred, still there is no impending death
You are not scared of doom
And not of death, you're scared of home!
Not of death, you broke the law, and should be punished for it
You took advantage of your recent concessions
"This is a white supremacist land afterall"
You lie and tell us that you did not know but you knew
You would rather die than go home
Till your fields and build, you would rather be beaten and die that go back to the land
That you are proud to be from or have some heritage
You waive your flag proudly unless it's in your homeland
You nor your family deserve any cover
You believed in a land that you knew was treating people badly
Your family still came, you got rich, and when your riches challenged
Not even got rich when your comfort irritated, slightly
We must fight for you
Get out of your bubble
Lower the rainbow flag and speak to the world
You are not a victim
You are not oppressed
The world is being balanced and your family made the wrong guess
You believe all they say and do
They are your revolutionary doctrine
They are your revolutionary spirit, the one that your homeland lacks
You believe the words of hacks and liars, those dependent upon your compliance
And with you we should make an alliance?

We are not as dumb as you, to fake like three plus three is two
And that the clear sky is foggy and not blue
Emotions should rule the day, we should feel the pain of the murderer being deported
The molester being sent out of here, the baker, the carpenter
Just like we should respect your tears?

Why are you defending criminality?
Is that what your people come here to do? To commit crime?
To make it! You must deceive and cheat and lie and steal?
We should be taxed not only to pay for your uselessness but to suborn criminality!
They can commit crimes at leisure on our dime?
We have to listen to your feelings? We have to care about them too?
You only care about you!

You only care about you!
That's the point. You want people that have always fought, still fighting, to stop fighting for us
To fight for you!
You give us nothing to fight for but your phony plight
And we are supposed to be indignant just so we can keep paying taxes for you?
You are not even supposed to be here
Waive your flag in your homeland
No one cares about your food
Americans make the greatest food, we perfected Neanderthal barbeque

For some reason we should care about these people, they hate our country
They are mad at a land that supports their lifestyle and gives them so much rope to complain
From that same rope let's watch them hang!!
No, let's hang them!!!!!!
No, we watched as they tied to rope around their own necks
They would agree, they gleefully hang themselves

They hate us and this country
They want a free army if this country is not their haven, their heaven
They want war if they are treated much less than we were/are
They attach themselves to our history and in that is proof
They do not understand or they hate us even more
They think they can equivocate and that their struggle is ours!

We must fight for their politics and their lives!!!
We should die for their right to come here and hate us and live their best life
We must protect the rights that their own governments would never give them
They knew the risks, they paid the coyotes and cartels
They hid in those shipping containers to cross the Pacific
They paddled across the Atlantic on a banana leaf with a bamboo stick
They swam the caribbean
They saved up and thought that as long as they were not us
They were safe
Detection they avoided, they actually help to point us out
They emphatically state that we are not them or like them
They have been discovered, now it's our moral duty to fight for an amoral people
For their ignorance for their ignobility
If we do not fight for them we are filthy

We are soiled but they are the cowards that left to brag about a place they fled
In a hurry

They think we are as dumb as they were told we were
They think we are much much much greater idiots
And we are
We fell for empathy, but not anymore
You made a choice, we did not
If I were to consider you and your family pieces of human garbage
Interlopers hoping to take advantage of all of the guilt you hope to shame
Would I be a bad person? What if I travelled to your homeland with a hand out?
Begging for empathy, "Empathy, empathy please, can I please have it?!!!!!
Empathy where are you?"
Is that where you attach yourself to the history of a people you hate?
A black history that has nothing to do with you

Actually what if a group of us got on a boat and sailed to your homeland?
For freedom, what if thousands, no, millions of black people crossed your border?
Looking for nothing but freedom!!
No, we were looking for acceptance. We're willing to be homeless in your land!
What would happen?
No actually we are looking for economic absolution, we want to make more money
You racist scum. Let me humor me...

You know you are a piece of garbage and your people are scum
Now that it is not black people, you are angry
Now you care. Actually you cared when it was not because you would make sure
To have a hand out so that people donate to the LGBTQP&*)y-8y or the homeless or Mexicans
Or anyone that was not a black American
When black Americans are killed
The oppression coalition of weirdos and immigrants with their hands out first
Now you want help, when you and your ancestors understood your possible treatment
But for some reason knew it would never be you
And now you pretend it is, and we should care, we should be empathetic
Science makes your children, our blood has been your families' absolution for generations
You still connect yourselves to the black plight despite your people's hate
Your dismissiveness, your false association
You duplicitousness scumbags finally getting what's coming to you
And still nothing is happening to you! You are fighting against a plane ticket home
It isn't death again, it isn't death, it's a plane ticket home!
The fear of a plane ticket home is what we should fight against?
"Please don't allow them to give me a free plane ticket home!!!!
PLEASE!!! PLEASE DO NOT GIVE MY PEOPLE PLANE TICKETS BACK HOME! US BEING SENT BACK HOME IS THE SAME AS BLACK PEOPLE BEING KILLED FOR LIVING! Our oppression is the same! Why don't you see that, nigger?"

Empathy is not reserved for people like you
But if you want mine, pay me for it in your blood, sweat and tears, not for a dollar
Pay in the blood for your flag, for your country's freedom
Then pay me more for empathy, at your funeral
