PLAYOFFS?!!!

The best time of the year is finally here! The NFL playoffs start tomorrow and my Seattle Seahawks are facing the Washington Redskins at Qwest Field in the first game of the weekend. This is a rematch of a 2006 divisional playoff game in which my Seahawks beat the Redskins 20-10 on route to Superbowl XL.

Of course I'm picking the Seahawks but this game is going to be closer than I would have originally thought. The Redskins are finally playing up to their potential and the death of Sean Taylor is added motivation but the Seahawks are just too good at home and Todd Collins has never heard a crowd like our 12th man in Seattle. What's he going to do when his wide outs can't hear his audibles or his Center can't even hear his snap count. Seahawks must get on top of them early. Todd Collins isn't going to make any type of comeback against our defense which is one of the best in the NFL.

The key is going to be Shaun Alexander and Maurice Morris. If they gain over 130 yards the game is well in hand for the Seahawks.
Clinton Portis may have a great game but I'm going to take the Seahawks by 7. If it came down to a Josh Brown field goal I wouldn't be surprised. If it was a blowout not only would I not be surprised but I'd be ecstatic! I guess I exhausted all of the possibilities. I just really have no clue how this game is going to go. This is the best match up of the weekend.

This wave of emotion that the Redskins are riding on is coming up on the rocky shores of Seahawks beach where not many teams can survive. Qwest Field is one of the hardest if not the hardest place to win a game in the NFL. The Redskins already know this. This is a totally different Seahawks team our defense is winning games. Lets go 'hawks!

Rest of Wild Card weekends game's:

- Jacksonville at Pittsburgh - Jags by 3
- Tennessee at San Diego - Tennessee by 3 (Vince Young is going to show up!)
- New York at Tamba Bay - New York by 14 (This is going to be the most lopsided game of the weekend.)
