Seahawks vs. Packers

No pick 6's for Matt this weekend!

The whole world, just about, is picking against the Seahawks. I tried to find any analysts on ESPN.com and NFL.com who would choose the Seahawks. Not one! Well actually Kevin Blackistone formerly of the Washington Post and now frequent guess on Around the Horn picked the Seahawks to beat the Packers. For the most part it's just us Seattlites. Us against the world. The world picking they're darling Brett Farve. In Las Vegas the spread is Seahawks -8. They believe we're going to lose by 8 points or less.

I think everyone is making a big mistake. I think it's going to be the Seahawks by 7 in a game that won't be too close. The Seahawks defense is going to show up and Matt Hasselbeck won't make any big mistakes he's going to win the game. Shaun Alexander is going to have a break out game, rushing for between 60-100 yards and scoring at least one touchdown. Ryan Grant isn't going to do anything against our defense. Especially since the Seahawks D' shut down Clinton Portis last week, an all around better back than Grant.

Final Score Seahawks 34 and Packers 27.
