I woke up to the gloomy news that Bernard Jeffrey McCollough also known as the great Bernie Mac died today at 50 years old. Too sad of a day. I remember him so vividly in my childhood laughing at him on Def Comedy Jam, House Party 3, The Players Club, Friday, and Don't Be a Menace amongst others. He had the funniest parts in all those movies. Those parts you stop and rewind and watch over again and laugh with the same force you did the first time you watched it. Or if you were in the theater you'd be in tears well into the next scene. Rest In Peace Bernie Mac, the legend.
