Alice In Chains
Without a single doubt in my mind my favorite band of all time is Alice In Chains. Seattle has produced some great, yet tragic native sons. R.I.P. Layne Staley, Kurt Cobain, Jimi Hendrix, I know I'm leaving some others out. They don't make bands like this anymore. Seattle was running music until Kurt Cobain committed suicide. Now a whole bunch of soft ass bands are coming out of Seattle like Death Cab For Cutie and Modest Mouse (who I like). This shit was the shit! My brothers would always get mad at me for watching AIC, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, or Nirvana videos back in the day on The Box and when MTV actually played music videos. Shit was the truth and still is.
