Leave Me Alone
There’s a person to my left and right
In back and front as well
Space to maneuver is tight
And privacy is frail
I feel breathing on my neck
Being touched when I refuse
All these bodies I fret
My loneliness defused
Why can’t I be alone?
It’s crowded everywhere I go
My solitude you all bemoan
While my insanity grows
Isolation is what I need
Separate from me before I crack
Unless you want your soul freed
Take a few steps back
Whose on my sides, front, back?
The bodies once abhorred
Annoying breaths they now lack
Gone, forgotten, ignored
