Suicide Note

I hate myself
and something innate within me.
I hate that I'm a waste.
The air I breathe isn't for me.
I hate that I'm a thief.
Too much time I have stolen.
I hate feeling this way.
My suffering isn't greater than yours,
I just never believed I deserved to be.
I'm loved but I can't trust it.
I have friends who I can't follow.
My family...
Existing isn't for everyone.
That's why the old and young die.
Some never even got a chance
or even stood a chance.
Those are the breaths I've stolen.
Their time I've wasted.
I wasted their chances.
When I'm gone, no longer will I be wasting space
or the chances I once owned.
I'm not doing it for them
or because of you.
I'm doing this for us.
I'm not needed here
and you'll have more room to move.
If it pains you to see me go,
good.
You have feelings.
Just know that I'm not suffering
and I have to leave because I don't.
Be happy for me.
In your new life without me,
I am happy for you.
