What have we got us in?
So quick, rushed, and hurried
No time to think it through
We disavowal what happened
The malaise we mask, worried
That what we feel is few

But I am inside you
And you are in me
Forgetting failed attempts
In each other we grew
Implanted as the seed
Something we fought with contempt

Stagnant our flower rose
For fear restricted the roots
Now we know we are in this together
No more feigning or prose
Our new love now blossoms fruits
That sustain forever
