Occupy My Street & For Heaven's Sake: All Praises to the First Revolutionary

Occupy My Street

I'm not going to move from here
Until thoughts and minds change
We're being exploited, that's clear
But none of us are tame

We spend, eat, and live our envy
We buy and waste to keep up to date
In this tent, drinking water that's trendy
A sparkling something made by a land raped

Together as individuals
Gathering people from the same phone
Watching the same TV's residuals
Only acting because our pay not grown

My street is mine to disrupt
Because their pay has never been
We never before have fought the corrupt
Never ever fought for them

And still there is denial
So my street I occupy
The elite I won't put on trial
Our minds allow them to thrive

A change is needed in us
I'll stand here alone
But I'm glad you finally decided to distrust
Maybe next time it'll be together shone

For Heaven's Sake: All Praises to the First Revolutionary

Oh Lord! For you I'll only do good
What you say is my lips
Heaven is within my grip
But your will is misunderstood
Who do I attribute my pain?
Lucifer is your creation
So is his damnation
By serving you what do I gain?
I'm not questioning your reign.
My mind the product of Lucifer's adoration

So Lucifer is who I proclaim
He is the first to fight for the oppressed
For what you want we obsess
But what you want you never claim
No questions is what you ask
A futile request
For life is only distress
So in your grace I could never last
I'll follow the shunned leader's grasp
Scooped, chewed and devoured by the supreme eater's fast

So what I told you prior
Isn't true, for my deception I apologize
I'm only following the creator's guise
I was born a liar
And as I grow into the truth
Something arbitrary and of distaste
With no tongue I enjoy the flavor of disgrace
Torn and disfigured by my tooth's
Need for nutrients sweet
Only to feel good to chew and cheat

I was born in his image
To deconstruct and modify
To reinterpret and defy
The practice and the routine scrimmage
Change is all that is holy
What we always reveal
Is to what our hearts will always kneel
What we love and forgive wholly
This revolution of sin
Is the only way I could ever begin
