Celebrate
Today is extraordinary
Each breath feels bizarre
For today couldn't be ordinary
Neither unique like yesterday or tomorrow far
No forced rituals to insure a future scary
A future restrained and barred in uncertainty
Yesterday was extraordinary too
I remember feeling as I do today
For yesterday was uncouth
All I did was ill mannered and dazed
For it was once an inhibited untruth
Doubting if tomorrow will be waged free
Tomorrow I malign
Today glowered at me and performed
Yesterday was boorish but refined
Imprisoned by the future sojourned
What I can't know and must experience defines
And keeps me chained in what today spurns
In today's liberty I celebrate my life
Dauntlessly, as a dubious tomorrow I sacrifice
