My feeling has succumbed to thinking

The mind rises as my heart is sinking 

Despite what is felt of thought

The depths of my mechanic mind is sought

Inclination falls to a systemic will 

Unnatural, disregarding, unreal 

Mistrust the heart at the mind's design

Denying what I felt at the time

My heart programmed by what my mind feels

A robotic future will soon reveal 

That my thoughtful nature will soon regret

The moment I became heartless
