Save the Newspapers

I may be a little late 

But this is a rallying call

Free speech's vitality, its fate

Is slipping into biased hands

Hands that could only rape 

And destroy free thought 

This is not my biased take

Just watch local and cable news

Listen to news radio ache

And bemoan any sense of objectivity

Journalists must not break

We must fight with them

And support what they make

The news at an angle 

An angle that isn't bought or shaped
