Nature
Majestic mountains in the bold background
Frame a lovely lake surrounded by titanic trees
The sun is shimmering on the lake's wonderful waves
The path we patrol cuts clear across a magnificent meadow
Fabulous flowers pray at our soulful soles
Inhaling has never been this incontrollable or easy
Hawks are hollering and hovering over malnourished mice
A deer is drinking water from a surprising spring
Before running away to chase a fine fawn
A scene of serenity salaciously serene
Novel, necessarily nutritious, and nice nature
Beauty and all of it's bounty bare to our eyes
But we cannot stay still, we must move from here
Soon the trees will be tumultuously cut and cleared
The mountains morosely will shade a small town
And line and comprise the luminous roads riden down
The town swims in the polluted lake placed next to the depleted spring
All those drinks celebrate the deer who screams as they sing
The fearful fawn watches her husband as he is enjoyed and eaten
The hawks hover over rooftops looking and listening for rats speakin'
Flowers will be feverishly plucked to protect feelings wavering
Willows fall from the deathly windows and die enabling
Decomposing on the slate sidewalks all but the mountains disremembered
A setting exceptional in soliciting an erased nature disfigured
I wish I was born in nature's bounty
Organically grown only needing what I knew cunning
Secure and sheltered by her care undoubting
I wish that delicious deer would have kept running
