Simulacrum, You Better Be Dying, The Dark Matter, and Black Face
Simulacrum
I know who you are
Your words and thoughts are not new
You are a copy, copied
You Better Be Dying
Do your lungs still work?
Good, help yourself. When you die
Then you can call me
The Dark Matter
I know you hate it
Because it can’t be explained
But you know it’s there
Light can’t penetrate
Nor illuminate its shape
It can’t be quantified or measured
But you feel it in your heart
This dark energy amassing
It’s deluge swallowing all you believed and could have felt
Affecting all of your thoughts and how you act
Some think you’re insane
Others know you are
The rest disregard you
As they do this force that has no true definition
All you know is that you feel it
And that it has taken over you
Black Face
No offense taken
Tan, coffee brown to shadow black
I love my skin too
I love my skin too
