Denial, Cursed Since Birth, Censorship? What the Hell Are You Talking About?, and Honoring the Dead
Denial
I'm not an alcoholic
I'm a connoisseur
Look at my shelf, you will learn
That I've tasted and enjoyed many whiskeys
From Kentucky to Ireland, Tennessee to Scotland
6 Many more have been represented on my tongue
All I can remember are the joyous frolics
And all of the truths that I'd unearth
Each taste from each barrel churned
Has been more pleasure than I can conceive
It's all that I demand
12 For relaxation, work, and fun
Do you have money to lend me?
All of these bottles are empty
Cursed Since Birth
I'm the luckiest person ever born
Fuck what you say
It isn't evident?
Not at all?
I'll prove it to you
6 ...
...
You don't know anything
Censorship? What the Hell Are You Talking About?
Did you hear about what just happened?
Something awful happened to innocent people
I never perceived this asshole as violent
As a man, as a real man I say
That this means that the greater society is awful
6 Every person that lives and breathes
Has been influenced by another's creativity
We all have trouble distinguishing fantasy from reality
Especially those people who tell stories with moving pictures
They'll never realize
Their fucking lies
12 Storytelling is humanity's greatest tradition
Morals are defined and taught or denied
But why aren't paintings similarly chastised?
They can be just as moving and drastic
Photographs frozen in horror's space
What about all the books those photographs inspired?
18 That school rampage can't be influenced by a news article
Nor a painting or photograph or a bird chirping
It had to be film, because he couldn't have just woke up
And felt like killing everyone on earth that day
Everyone is born with the purity of heaven
That is how humanity has been programmed
24 You can only learn how to demean and destroy
We don't learn how to be nice
It just happens
Kill all the killers for worship
Paint pictures of their photographs
Sing all your songs for them and name your band their name
30 Word after word written to become their film
That taught the killers to kill
And commanded us to kill the killer
Please stop creating things
They influence inherently good people
To do inherently bad things
36 All artists must die
Honoring the Dead
It feels really good
To apologize to you
Now that you are gone
