Altruism, Frame, Lord of the Flies, and If You've Never Thought of Death, You Always Should Have

For-Rest
(4th & St. Louis, Los Angeles, CA)
Altruism

  Noble
  How noble you are
The welfare of others is your greatest concern
And for that, you are noble
  So humane!
6  No... you're all heart, a good heart
  A philanthropic bleeding heart
Only here and only alive to care
  Generous and considerate
No other soul is as noble
  You're not kind for taxes
12 You're not kind to feel better about yourself
  You're not kind, but magnanimous
  An altruistic spirit
There needs to be more people like you
  I wonder why there isn't?
  Maybe...
18 It's the existence of people like me
  That find futility
  In your nobility

I Love How You Walk On Me
(Boyle Heights, USA)

Frame

  What a moment!
  Captured perfectly
This picture worth only one word
  Look how happy she is
No... her mouth is about to open
6  She looks surly
  Or maybe she looks disturbed
  That's what I insist
  Disturbed, the only word spoken
  And surely
All the picture meant to unearth
12 Is that "disturbed" must exist
  Broken

Lord of the Flies

There are many flies
There are millions of damn flies
I'm faster than them

Don't Shatter
(3rd & Figueroa, Los Angeles, USA)

If You've Never Thought of Death, You Always Should Have

And that's why you protect your family
  You stand there stoic
  Scared but prepared
But your family can't know it
Your family can't know that you're scared to die
6  And even more scared of their demise
Because then you'll have to leave
  Because you're selfish
And because you can't live without them
Now I knew I would only die
That's all I could ever do
12 But my family must live forever
  And I must protect that!
  I drive
  And a wheel's crash
  My family is okay
  I'm okay
18 But we're frayed
  All thoughts on our son
All fear that turned to anger on each other
And how we couldn't protect each other
  And our son
  Death happens out of nowhere
24 It can't be planned or planned for
  There is no middle age
And you can't die too young
It is what happens to us
...to life as we know it
  I cannot wait to be
30 That person that lives for eternity
