Mistakes Were Made

I don't want to work
Bad thoughts aren't uncommon
In fact, I have experienced them more often than those thoughts good
Or those thoughts of good
Well... those thoughts I have been taught are supposed to be good
Originally I believed that bad thoughts were subjective
Like why should I think a sunrise or sunset are beautiful?
And why is that bad?
Why is empathy lauded and obsessed over?
Care and good, being nice and genial, gracious
Are traits of a good human being
You can demonize me, of course you can, will, and do
Because sunsets and sunrises are poo
Bad thoughts is the refuge for those who can't and never would
Force themselves to think other than they do
Influence rules us all
We aren't Adam or Eve
Or the first organism that began evolution
But... those who deny bad things, bad hearts, bad souls
Seem to be people who invented good
Those who have done bad things
Think bad thoughts
Have bad hearts
Were born with bad souls
Think that what you think is awful
For those who think that sunsets are drudgery
For those who know that the sun is evil
And rises only to cause worriment
They also hate the moon because it's light
Is owned by the sun
What they covet is blindness
Those bad thoughts that look straight into the sun
To achieve that goal
Myopia, a defect that should be cheered
Because it champions that cause and direction of your head in the sky
