Memory is scary
A penny on the ground
Reminds me of times spent with my grandpa
As he picked up one at the bus stop
He told me that 99 more of those makes one dollar
That's why a penny lost
Is a penny closer to being broke

One penny more is that much more worth
Now I pick up every penny I see abandoned
Put it in my pocket
Then later into my penny jar
And think about my grandpa as I close the lid
Priceless were those times we spent together
