The Criminal Enterprise We Refuse To Acknowledge On Purpose

The nobility of this criminal enterprise is never requitioned
It's righteous morality could be anything but a dream
The leaders of this sinister syndicate always tout its good ambitions
But can never manifest what the words mean
Subservient to this grand ideal
Its actions we never appeal

Serve and preach, preach and serve
"The United States' intentions are always on the side of good"
I am unnerved
By the deceit of intentions and how their actions are falsehoods
It's too difficult to hope
It is easy to cope

My luxury, as minimal as it is
Is something I will cherish with my life
Something I refuse, something I will fight... not to relinquish
How can I honor what is right
When the only model I have to gain influence from, to copy
Is wrong and a hypocrite and abusive and exploitive and sloppy?

We are the citizens of the United States of America, and we're criminals!
