Generation Validation
Logic is a plague on the universe, in my ignorant observation. There are way too many variables to determine if something is logical or illogical. Also, I believe that for something to be logical that means that there is some static position of logic. In a universe that I deem chaotic I cannot see how anyone can possibly arrive at the position that logic exists. Maybe, it is situational or maybe it is determined by the social contracts that we unwittingly, even more probable unwillingly sign, when we're born into a community or society.
It is difficult for me to accept a logical order to chaos. In fact, it is difficult to acknowledge and accept order and what society deems orderly. So when people stray from our society's defined logic, when we deviate from the path of our society's moral compass, it is becoming exceedingly difficult to fault that person completely for their degeneracy, which is only degenerate based upon a logic, morality, and standard that is intrinsically irrational and absurd. Acceptable behavior is strictly defined and way too many people do not deem behavior unacceptable or dolorous unless it effects someone who looks or defines themselves as they do.
I believe that our generation, the Millennials, only seek validation based upon how we perceive supposed oppression around us. We feed off of insinuating that someone is attempting to offend how we define ourselves. Actually, it is necessary to seek those people who hate how we define ourselves, demonize them, and use that instance as a marker for a society's degeneration. In an awful and distressing manner our generation creates an identity constructed by supposed ghastly occurrences no matter how obscure or rare. I feel that our generation doesn't believe that they are alive unless someone is "hating" on how we have rigidly defined ourselves. We want everyone else to be open while our minds are closed and offended by thoughts and rationale that challenge us to define ourselves differently, or maybe not define ourselves at all. Well, at least not as narrowly.
We are supposedly the most open-minded generation while being dismissive, unaccountable, capricious and quick to apply a label to opinions that are not on the same plane as ours. We surround ourselves with people who do not challenge our definitions, who often, only agree with how we think.
We too often refuse to acknowledge that differing opinions and ways of thought that may challenge how we perceive the universe may have some validity. If something challenges how we perceive ourselves, our label, or the universe, we retreat to safe spaces. Safe spaces attempt to deny that there is a universe, a world, a society that you will have to eventually rejoin. We expect our ego and sensitivities to be catered to. We must understand and comprehend how those thoughts opposite to how we think are necessary to how we could exist, they are necessary to how we exist.
I write "we" because I will not separate myself from the generation for which I am apart. Continually, I believe I think the same way. I just do not get how a generation with access to the most information in the history of any people ever, with access to different ways of thought and behavior are so narrow minded in their thought processes. The supposed liberalism that plagues this generation has to be a hoax. I witness way too many supposedly intelligently people be governed by the liberal media they read and watch. They feign being informed and thoughtful but most often people who label themselves as liberal only ingest what is forced fed to them by liberal media outlets. For some reason a lot of liberals do not understand that they're being taught to be more deceptive about their nature. This is undoubtedly the same for conservatism but I am not concerned with how they operate because I do not exist in their space. At least conservatives are becoming honest, most liberals are still lying their asses off about how they believe in identity politics and how racially and socially progressive they are when most often they are like the well to do "occupiers" of the 2009 recession. They are only angry because they aren't getting their cut. Our generation doesn't give two fucks about oppression and what it truly looks like and how it is truly enacted. They only care about themselves not being oppressed, this generation is more than happy for oppression to exist just as long as they benefit.
Fuck this fake ass outrage about every action that everyone does at all times of the day. It bothers me that you cannot be truthful with the members of this generation because they aren't truthful. There is this prevailing aesthetic that all in our generation must be hardcore; wearing metal and punk t-shirts, listening to trap music and its glorification of criminality, buying jeans and sweaters with holes in them, the "I don't give a fuck" all accepting attitude has become this generation's greatest platitude. All attempts to give this generation a social currency opposite of their intensely sensitive disposition. This generation believes that being considered "hardcore" or obtaining or possessing some "street credibility" masks how this generation is searching for validation. This generation has become natural swindlers, masters of deception whose true intentions are only selfish. You define yourself as an intersectional, mixed, bi-racial, disabled, transgender, female, fluid, lesbian, gay, hiker, taco Tuesday loving, vegan, exhibitionist, introvert and do not understand the flaws in trying to define all of that supposed complexity. You wear those labels as some sort of badge of progressiveness when you're still a racist, sexist, piece of shit! You refuse to recognize that none of those badges absolve you from what you think you are immune, from what you think you cannot be because you define yourself a certain way. You aren't hardcore or uncaring, you care too much about how people, the world, the universe perceive your chosen label.
Please do not misunderstand me or refuse to comprehend what I am saying. I do not think it is wrong to define yourself however you want to, this universe isn't static and your definition of yourself speaks to that. What I do not like is the hypocrisy and the blissful ignorance to all of us having the ability to be an oppressive force. What I truly hate is that your label is a shield against those who expose the nature that is innate within you. These motherfuckers really cry if you come at them with a reality that isn't filtered through a fucking dumb ass label, a fucking stupid ass label that only validates your existence. They idiotically think that a narrowly defined label defines their "complexity" or makes them anything but another shitty ass person trying to find benefits in society.
Now I am getting to the root of these dumb ass problems. Too many people in our generation do not have an identity. This generation has to come to grips with not being as important as they were raised. While also dealing with the realization that they are a tool for the few millennials who have exploited their vanity for massive profit. Or, you're still oblivious to the support system that is allowing you to live freely and spout your faux oppression.
We are not a generation of creators. We are a generation of losers who are vying for acceptance from anyone, again, despite our nihilistically benevolent disposition, anyone who will find credence in our personal belief system that is regulated by an insecurity that is looking for an identity...
All I mean to say is that we ALL have the capacity for evil. That we should not get lost in our vain self-righteousness just to prove that we are all for men fucking each other in the ass or cutting off their dicks, for women being in leadership positions, for a whole bunch of wheelchair motherfuckers rolling around our jobs, based upon a logic that we have never known, that is invalid.
