Not Everyone Can Read

In these trying times
One of our greatest missteps is assuming intelligence
Just because you are engaging in an argument, a sit down, or civil conversation
That does not mean that that person or you will understand it

Some people will understand the terms you define
Some will ignore them with the most ignorant negligence
You are not equal to everyone you're facin'
There are varying degrees of wit

You cannot count on everyone's great ability to comprehend
You cannot count on everyone being idiotic
Your definitions and understanding  are not the truth or the end
What is the topic?

Explain all you want
They're not going to get it or understand
Give them links and sources, be considerate
They are trying to fight anger and its sensation, frustration

Please forgive my taunt
I cannot believe it is taking this long, damn!
I think you're illiterate
I will help you understand, I have patience
