Parable
How I describe society
Is how I don't describe me
The joy or hate I bring
About me, doesn't mean anything
Sure the world deteriorates
That evidence you must elevate
You must journey down an unknown path
The goal? No one asks
The bugs and bees the snakes and bears
The rain, the sun, you cannot bare
No relief, no savior
So you paralyze your behavior
Energized you are to ease
The roadblocks that always tease
So you kill the bugs and bees and snakes
The bears are gone, the earth quakes
The sun bakes
The rain storms harder, it incapacitates
So now your are stuck fighting the weather
Forgetting that further up the path might be better...
Or it could be worse
You can't predict the next curse
Is how I don't describe me
The joy or hate I bring
About me, doesn't mean anything
Sure the world deteriorates
That evidence you must elevate
You must journey down an unknown path
The goal? No one asks
The bugs and bees the snakes and bears
The rain, the sun, you cannot bare
No relief, no savior
So you paralyze your behavior
Energized you are to ease
The roadblocks that always tease
So you kill the bugs and bees and snakes
The bears are gone, the earth quakes

So now your are stuck fighting the weather
