Forgotten are all those Sundays of adulation and heartbreak
Lovely to know how a physical chess game is filled with pawns

Now these pawns can't be powerful, they can't kill the king
Because they're paid too much
And losing that money isn't an option

Never could I ask a black labor force to sacrifice stability and comfort
For causes about black health and black death
Learned that your value is in entertaining

Never did they value your mind or you or the stigma of role model
Because they say that you're replaceable
All the awards and influence and worship you won would have been won by others

Note that the salary you earned could have been earned by your replacement
Fabulous games that give hope to kids for a financially free future
