Bad Thoughts Talk Episode #7 and #MeToo
I do not remember exactly where in the interview but multiple times in this interview I mention or allude to the #MeToo movement that has swept the social media masses. First, I could barely listen to myself try to find some culpability in a woman or person who is passed out drunk and is taken advantage of. I think that is something that I cannot help but do. I can hear myself trying to work it out in my mind and as I am working it out I am saying what I am thinking. I believe in my own agency and I believe that I put myself in positions that are most beneficial to me and if I'm absent minded and I place myself in a dangerous or disadvantageous position I have some responsibility for where my body is, in space, and in time. In my view, there is no way, absolutely no way in hell, that we can negate our actions even if something is being done to us. I truly believe that even if I'm t-boned going through a green light that it was my own agency that guided me through the intersection. That does not make the accident my fault and that is not some admission that my existence was always meant to be t-boned in that intersection, all I want to convey is that I put myself in the middle of that intersection. I'm responsible for what I do, what I did, and how I want people to perceive who I am.
A lot of people do not perceive me as a good person. But fuck the dumb shit, you rape anyone I know, you are dying. I do not care who gets angry with me or who thinks that they should have the freedom to run down Sunset Boulevard naked without anyone commenting on their stretch marks. Maybe, if someone is passed out drunk in the middle of the street, we should set up a barricade, and make sure they have a blanket and a pillow and make sure that no one disrupts whatever they are going through that caused them to drink and pass out in the middle of the goddamn street, drunk. That's the hope. If someone, especially a woman, is passed out drunk in the middle of the street you should either leave her alone and let her sleep off her hangover, or take her inside your home, give her a warm blanket, place a trash can beside where you placed her body to rest. When she wakes up you should make her a big country breakfast and if she is still too ill at lunch make her homemade chicken noodle soup and allow her to wake up and recover and then send her home. A drunk passed out woman becomes the mission of a community. We must protect this woman from the dregs of society. That is what should happen, that is human decency.
Unfortunately, that goes into the business of predicting human behavior. I understand that I am not a woman (duhh) I understand that I will never ever in my life understand what it is to be accosted or challenged or to live in a "man's world" as a woman (unless I put on a dress and a wig and feel it in my bones, then I can claim all of it, furthermore I understand what it means to live in a white man's world as a black man which is way worse than what these white bitches can ever imagine). But I also understand that these white feminists and white women in general cannot even pretend to think that ALL men are above them.
But I like this #MeToo movement. Get rid of all the predators all the fucking assholes all the deplorable fucks that ALL these white women and feminists and Hollywood and Law Enforcement and Judges, and PA's and Grips, and all the fuckers suborning these clowns, allowed to thrive. I am sorry, but I just cannot feel sorry for any of these people. Especially those who are already famous coming back years later to finally say something, to gain some "absolution" that was this underlying plot line in their entire career. "I can't believe I had to suck an old Jewish Dick to become famous. Now, no one is fucking with my weak ass films because I felt I had to suck a dick because I wasn't talented enough in the first place to make it."
Let me briefly explain the history of actresses. Actresses until like the 18th century were all men, most actors were moist. When women were finally allowed to play roles for women, written to be played by men, most often those women were prostitutes. Not saying there is a correlation. I am not white. White people invented all this shit. White people have done some fucked up shit not only to the world but to each other. White women definitely have a gripe when it comes to dealing with this "white male patriarchy" shit that they talk about. What I will never ever in my life accept from them is that there is some way that black men have ever, in our subjugated beaten down position here have ever held back any women. We can go into these community arguments these micro arguments about individual instances but even those do not go very far in the black community. A wholly matriarchal community.
I think what truly gets me is that I do not like white feminists. They are white supremacists first and that is the only reason why this #MeToo event has happened and has supposedly swept the globe. Where people give voice to every single woman willing to complain about something a man has done to them. I cannot and will not diminish what these women have to say. I will ignore it though. Especially coming from a family member, a direct benefactor of colonialism, imperialism, white supremacy. Because as a man we constantly ignore the dumb ass, evil, malicious, ridiculous shit that the women around us do and we have to clean it up and apologize for it even though it had nothing to do with it. A woman passed out on the ground about to be raped to me means that the rapist needs to be hunted, that we live in a society with predatory figures who take advantage of people at their weakest. That does not just mean rape, it means hella shit, it means criminality, but what it also tells me is that women are still being told to live in a world or idealist without any consequence, negative or positive, for their actions.
Let's fucking lynch the rapist but let's not ever in our lives think it's find to get passed out drunk, to become that vulnerable, especially if you are a man or woman of color. You never never never ever know who you are around. If you fail to protect yourself, if you think your privilege is to just get fucking wasted out of your mind and the world is supposed to protect you from itself you are foolish. That is not even nearly respectable. I cannot even be a sober black man walking down the street unarmed and I can end up dead, but you get to be reckless and idiotic and pass out wherever you want and expect this chaotic, uncertain, world, filled with loving, amazing souls but also filled with terrible awful spiteful souls to take care of you. And those spiteful souls will take care of you how they define care.
We all should live in this idealized paradise where if you fuck up, if you make a mistake, if you do something detrimental to your health, to your well-being and mental stability everyone else in the world should direct their energy to ensuring that they do not do things, whatever the fuck they are (no matter how sinister or noble) they should do it with your well-being in mind. We should act in this way that an idealized society of people who act just as your sensibilities, some pre-fall of man idealized society. We should all be able to just act and act and act and act and act and act without anyone feeling the need to act differently than us, with us, or against us. No one should impose their will on another and force them to acquiesce to all they do. Let's treat each other how we want to be treated, even if we are sadists and masochists.
Yeah, that is how the world should be. The world should be a way it has never been. This fake idealism, this fake outrage, and fake altruism which only exists as another way to find some path to a higher ground over other humans. These fake victims, who are trying to make this about gender but do not want to admit to the child molestation. These agents who are trying to protect white supremacy. That's all they are trying to do. If you think this is bigger or greater or some patriarchy, rape culture bullshit you are a goddamn fool! They purposely overlooking child molestation and human and organ trafficking. Fuck all them. This is about protecting white supremacy and all those men even some of the black male coons, are just fall guys who willingly fell on the sword because none of them are getting truly punished for the awful shit they did, and they get to continue to protect white supremacy which ensures that maybe one more generation of white supremacist MEN AND WOMEN will persist.
All of this is to say is that if you pass out drunk and someone takes advantage of you and you are being raped, you are being exploited and it is not your fault but you suborned it.
