We purchased a new DSLR Camera and I just been playing around with it. I am thinking about recording home movies of my family and me just for fun; to get to know the camera a bit better. Single shot, no editing, just recording what's going on in my home. Check it out!

Apperception
It is not fun to look at myself critically
But I must do it
It must happen physically and mentally
The mirror is my permit

I stare... and then I stare...
Observing the blonde hairs in my black beard
I stare... and stare and stare at my hair
I am everything that I feared

I stare... and look into my own eyes
They are greenish brown, hazel
The big brown mole on my forehead cries
For the thoughts I am unable

My lips are a dull pink
My mustache can't obscure them
With all my might I try to think
But the pink does not end

I stare... and look at my nose
It's big and fat, my nostrils are small
I stick out my tongue to propose
But it does not tell all

My complexion is tan, I guess
I am dark but I am not dark enough
My skin is light, but not light enough to test
Who I see and what I see, is rough

My beer belly hangs over my waist
Connected to pale thighs and shadowed knees
Big, long, and flat feet end my haste
Apperception still hasn't been presented to me
If only this mirror could arrange
For my eyes to see the inside of my brain
