Chief Thoughts #013: Community Must Be Built

There is a definition of community that I think is purposely being employed to actually usurp another definition. Now I know that dictionary.com is not exactly the Oxford English Dictionary but according to dictionary.com the very first definition of a community is "a social group of any size whose members reside in a specific locality, share government, and often have a common cultural and historical heritage."

That definition is being usurped for the third definition, "a social, religious, occupational, or other group sharing common characteristics or interests and perceived or perceiving itself as distinct in some respect from the larger society within which it exists." I am sure the usurpers would argue that the definitions can be intersectional but I gather that the only part of this entire definition that mainstream society means by LGBTQ "community" or the black or white "community" or the Catholic or Muslim "community" is not only meant to group people by corrupted perceptions (because of the labels) but also to erase the proximal portion that truly makes a community. There is no reasonable connection to be made for an LGBTQ person in China to in the USA or even one in Berlin or one in San Francisco. Are all heterosexual people a community? "Black" or "white" people are not a community unless they live on the same street or in the same neighborhood and even then rarely. If a white LGBTQ person rapes a black LGBTQ person, is that LGBTQ on LGBTQ crime? The incidence is not some automatic connector and is actually being used to propagandize that your incidence connects with people who may have the same proclivities or be a part of the same religious sects or so-called race-based identity despite ALL other differences. These distinctions these labels, based upon very broad characteristics are actually absurd. People cannot be grouped in this manner. These labels are being used to group people to decide their place in the caste system to deny all other characteristics in favor of this one connective tissue.

Even in sports accomplishment is being attributed to a team's protest and not the athletic prowess of the athlete. That negates the hard work off the field, court, or pitch that allowed for the success because they absolutely prepared for it. The socialist/Marxist are again trying to attach themselves in such a nonsensically arbitrary way so that they can tie their inadequacy with the success of those who worked for it.

Hard work is always attributed to some perceived advantage, at times they definitely are undoubtedly, but the hard work, the effort, and the energy exerted cannot be negated or forgotten or dismissed for some mystical (literally) connection, some spiritual connection, some almost completely random connection.

Community must be built, you cannot claim to be apart of a community. All that makes community nowadays is a label or a perception; that is why there is no community.
