Capitalism is the main reason that the United States of America seems to be falling to the "east." It was the quest for capital, for the highest profit margins as possible but one thing I didn't mention is that not only did US companies run to China, South East Asia, and Central and South America (a lot of former or current Communist nations) for manufacturing because of the very relaxed labor laws to manufacture pretty much every product in our nation, even some of our tallest skyscrapers. Also, because these other nations have very relaxed environmental laws. That is something to think about. How much are these corporations making in not having to dispose of the materials from what they manufacture in a manner that is environmentally sound? Capitalism is the best system we have but if we do not see that it is the cause of the dissolution of the middle class as well as the greed that capitalism courts is the cause of all of our nation's economic troubles... You must understand that profits are worth more than American Idealism.
I am not an anticapitalist but the unceasing lust for capital has doomed us all.
