Chief Thoughts #12: Isolation to Build a Nation
Isolationist
Isolation is inherently lonely
So, I would be phony
If I did not admit
That I have lost my wits
And no one should know
That is for me to show
The society from which I hid
Wants everyone to be rigged
To the tepid, frenzied crowd
That's stupidity endowed
So I go back inside
I go back to hide
That brand of chaos is not for me
Where all minds lost to the same insanity
I must embrace this desolation, this folly
Just to own my own delirium, my own absurdity
