POETRY: Contextual Circumstance and From a Sad Mother's Day to a Horrible Father's Day

Contextual Circumstance

"M" is for Metro
"S" is for Service, rapid
"P" for Passenger

"P" is for Platform
"M" for Mezzanine, "P" is for Parking
"S" is for the Street

"M" is for a Man
"S" is for Security
"P" is for Patience

"P" is for Parent
"M" is for Money needed
"S" is Sacrifice

"M" is for Moment
"S" simply saved Self, secret
"P" means Probably

From a Sad Mother's Day to a Horrible Father's Day

There is a lot of sadness and more anger in the air
I walk past people on the street and I can feel the tension
In their happy eyes I can see the despair
Behind each smile and laugh the torment has no suspension
The pain comes from somewhere
And I think I know the source of the friction

There are many mothers that think they are not
And fathers too that wanted or did not want their seed
The union was successful and how humanity has always fought
Then deemed unworthy and useless, eliminated "healthily"
The reason told is that some growth is rot
Certain cells are less equitable and do not deserve to be

Sorrow and misery abound
The lies in those happy eyes cannot hide each swallowed pill
Feigning that all is well because a legacy was stunted and unfound
Those "useless" cells that were eliminated for comfort and thrills
Sit on the conscience unconscious, they sit on your shoulders; downed
There are many holes in many hearts that will not be filled

Happy Mother's Day to the mothers that thought they decided not
Despite your decision, you are still a mother
Happy Father's Day to the fathers that were until they could not
Despite her decision, you are still a father, nothing other
The torment and agony felt is all you got
That is why you cannot hide your agony, despite your smother
