POETRY: The Los Angeles City Council Announces, "No Fixes!"

The Los Angeles city council is meeting for the 13,777th time to fix some issues

The sixth street viaduct has no lights 

"We cannot fix the lights until we fix misogyny."

There are many potholes on LA's infinite streets 

"We cannot fix potholes until there is no more homelessness or homophobia"

No one can afford to rent or a mortgage 

"We cannot fix the cost of living until there are zero racists in the world"

There is a lot crime and criminals abound

"Criminals are victims of misogyny, racism, homophobia, ableism, ageism, fatphobia, skinny prejudice... and everything else! They cannot help but commit crime"

Rhetoric is just an excuse for inaction

Meetings solve problems, action does nothing, the solution is unending meetings and writing new tax law

Councilman is just a job, a liar's job 

Councilman is a career, a crook's career

A Councilman is a career rhetorician that easily convinces, the Idiots, they have imported or dumbed down

A Councilman's livelihood depends on not solving problems, their lone survival solution? Tax dollars!

There is a fire in the neighborhood 

"We cannot put out the fire until we fix all that the city council perceives ails not just the city but... 

All of humanity!"

They will still lobby to raise taxes for climate, roads, schools, breathing...

The roads are worse despite more taxes 

Climate? The greatest money pit, taxes cannot suppress God's will, or explain fraudulent miscalculations

Schools? The kids are statistically dumber, they are morons on purpose, that is why morons take office

The fire will keep burning and burn forever, an eternal flame 

Misogyny and homophobia and racism are the most imminent danger to Los Angeles 

"Despite me being an obese lesbian retard, I am a city council member, my position my material conditions should be ignored... We must demonize competence!"

The forever fire burning, the bridge being out means nothing

The imminence of a fire burning citizens alive today is less threatening than ideological intangibles

"Minorities" don't use roads or bridges or don't care about schools or breathing well!

They hate when fires are put out because of sexism

All the city council cares about is image, distorted allusions, the illusion 

They care about image but are obese, inept, undisciplined ugly people

"There are no fixes but higher taxes!" 

That's what the city council admits

The city council does not want fixes, they refuse to admit it because they are secure 

"MORE TAXES," the Los Angeles city council shouts, again!

"These new taxes will ensure that we get paid to end racism, xenophobia, homophobia, ableism, ageism, sexism, rape culture... in Los Angeles for decades!"
